Supporting Mental Wellness in Nova Scotia’s Construction Industry

Anchor Point Member Assistance ProgramConstruction Safety Nova Scotia’s Creating Mentally Healthy Workplaces study revealed a critical truth: workplace conditions in the construction industry directly impact employees’ mental health. High stress levels are at the core of many of the industry’s leading mental and physical health challenges.

In response, we’ve partnered with MERIT Nova Scotia to launch Anchor Point, a new Member Assistance Program (MAP), designed for construction workers who do not have access to employer-sponsored support plans. While Anchor Point was created with these workers in mind, it is open and accessible to all workers, regardless of whether they have existing benefits.

This initiative provides FREE, accessible, confidential, and personalized mental health and wellness support through GreenShield Health’s secure platform, GreenShield+ (GS+).
