Construction Safety Nova Scotia provides a wide variety of courses both online and in the classroom. Our instructors have industry experience and use practical and interactive learning techniques to ensure you get the training you need.

Our courses are offered throughout Nova Scotia and cover compliance, management, and practical settings.

Types of Training

We provide accessible and quality training in the classroom and online. Our online classes are accessible 24/7 and can be completed at your convenience. If you are unable to participate in our regularly scheduled classes, we offer private training for groups with 14 participants or more.

COVID-19 Compliant In-Person Training

We have developed safe work procedures to facilitate a limited number of in-person courses at our location in Burnside. Enrolment is limited and 6 ft distance will be maintained at all times. We are currently only offering the Temporary Workplace Signer and Traffic Control Person courses as part of our COVID-19 compliant in-person training.

Cancellation & Prepayment Policies

If you are unable to attend your scheduled training course, every effort will be made to reschedule you for a course on another date.

All cancellations must be submitted two full business days prior to the scheduled course date. If you are unable to attend you must cancel by calling or emailing our Safety Services team. You will be provided with a cancellation number which you should retain for your records. Without adequate notice you will be billed for the full cost of the course.

Notifications for class cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a closure due to a snowstorm or services outage, are posted on our social media accounts and our Operations Line by 7:30AM, please contact us at 902.468.6696 ext 49.
