Required equipment:
CSA approved work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and clothing appropriate for practical training indoors or outdoors (warehouse).
Course Summary:
This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely operate forklifts (industrial lift truck, classes 1-5) in compliance with Nova Scotia regulations , CSA and ANSI standards. The training will cover theoretical and practical aspects of forklift operation, emphasizing safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and regulatory requirements.

· Identify components and controls of forklifts.
· Safely maneuvering and operation of forklifts.
· Execute pre-operational inspections and verify routine maintenance.
· Examine safe loading, unloading, and stacking procedures.
