Construction Safety Nova Scotia provides a wide variety of courses both online and in the classroom. Our instructors have industry experience and use practical and interactive learning techniques to ensure you get the training you need. Our courses are offered throughout Nova Scotia and cover compliance, management, and practical settings.

Training Delivery Methods
- In person: Courses take place at a specified location in person. All full-day classroom courses begin at 8:30am. (For Dartmouth courses, please use the student access doors located by the classrooms on the side of the building).
- Online: Courses are available through our eLearning platform. These courses are self-paced and accessible 24/7, and learners can start and stop at their convenience. A printable certificate is generated upon completion of each course.
- Virtual: Courses take place in real time and are led by an instructor, just as if they were held in a physical classroom setting. Learner participation is expected therefore a strong Internet connection, working camera, microphone and speakers are required.
- On-Demand: Private courses for groups of 14 or more in-person and on your site. We will come to you! Email info@constructionsafetyns.ca to inquire.

Cancellation & Prepayment Policies
- If you are unable to attend your scheduled training course, please contact the office at 902-468-6696 ext. 10 or info@constructionsafetyns.ca.
- All cancellations must be submitted a minimum of two (2) full business days prior to the scheduled course date. If you are unable to attend, you must cancel by emailing or calling our Safety Services team. Without adequate notice, you will be billed for the full cost of the course. In some circumstances, additional notice may be required for cancellation. These cancellation terms will be clearly defined in your registration confirmation e-mail.
- Notifications for class cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a closure due to a snowstorm or services outage, are posted on our website and social media accounts by 6:30am.
- Your safety is important to us. Please use your own discretion when considering inclement weather and travelling.
Accessibility & Inclusion
- Construction Safety Nova Scotia aims to create a productive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. We encourage participants and staff to respect the questions and suggestions of others.
- We support students who require special accommodations. Please let our training services team know in advance should you have specific requirements.
- Our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
COVID-19 Protocol
- Masks are no longer mandatory, although we do ask you wear one if you are feeling unwell.
