The Working Mind (Worker) helps participants recognize and respond to changes in their own and others’ mental health. This course focuses on building understanding, reducing stigma, and promoting open, supportive conversations on the job site. Participants leave with practical strategies to maintain their own well-being and support their co-workers in doing the same.

 

Participants will learn to:

  • Understand the mental health continuum and how it applies to everyday life in the trades.

  • Recognize early warning signs of mental health changes in themselves and others.

  • Use the “Big 4” coping strategies to build personal resilience and manage stress.

  • Communicate confidently and respectfully about mental health at work.

  • Access supports and resources when help is needed.
