Construction Safety Supervisor (CSS) Program

Become a Safety Professional

The Construction Safety Supervisor (CSS) Program is intended to provide a higher level of safety awareness for safety supervisors in the construction industry and promote the development of in-house resources.

To obtain the CSS designation, participants must have a minimum of three years experience in the industry and complete the following mandatory Construction Safety Nova Scotia courses:

Practical Exercises

The three practical exercises that are required to be completed and passed into Construction Safety Nova Scotia either during or at the end of training:

  • Tool Box Safety Meeting presentation
  • Site Inspection or Hazard Assessment
  • Internal COR Evaluation
